Wow!! This year is going by fast. It's already getting really hot here
in Devine. Lots has happened since i last wrote. I got a new I Mac and
it has been a trip getting it all set up. I have been unable, so far,
to use my e-mail address book, that is one reason i have not posted
here in a while, but slowly we are getting it back up and running.
Newfolk? Although it doesn't SOUND like it applies to me, it does.
For the second time in 3 years, i am once again a finalist. It is such
a great honor to be picked as one of the 32 our of 800 entries for the
Kerrville Newfolk Songwriter Competition. I will be performing on
Sunday May 25. If you have never been to Kerrville you really need to
carve out some time and come. It is a great experience for fans and
artist as well. Eighteen days of almost non-stop music. It is really a

On the home front we continue to work on our house and much has been
done. We are just about through with the Kitchen renovation and we are
moving into the living room. It's a lot of work, but a lot of fun and
we are seeing progress everyday. A big party is planned as soon as we
get the living room completed and the new floors in.
I have designed the living room so that we can do house concerts
here on a semi-regular basis, but that is down the road. More news to
follow on that front.
All is well. My new solo CD "Serious" continue to fly off the shelf
and the H!X are playing some fine gigs and will be announcing the
release of there first studio CD soon.
In the meantime, Keep looking up and give thanks to the men and
women who serve , and have served, this country, fighting for freedom
throughout the world. It is because of our veterans that we have the
